    Song missing...?

All albums pressed on vinyl are missing at least one song. It's just how they're made. Theyre currently working on making all LP's 13" to fix this problem.

    Song missing...?

the first version of horse with no name was omitted because while the band was on tour prior to the album release, the drummer's grandmother accidentally named the horse they wrote the song about. fearing it would be a false interpretation of the song's true meaning, it was pulled last second. it seems like you may have one of these copies, if so, it's worth a considerable amount of money and you should probably get it professionally appraised.

  9. Fuck, last night was great. Thursday, Touché Amoré, Basement, and Wax Idols. So fucking great. Thursday still got it, I'm so glad I got to see them again. They were refreshed, reinvigorated, and just had so much energy. Wax Idols were such an awesome opener, Basement really impressed me as well. And FINALLY getting to see Touché Amoré was everything I thought it would be. Hell of a great show.

Previous owner must have used up all the plays for that song.

  12. Just wanted to mention that cold rodes and gold have new pressings. Both cut by Chris Bellman and pressed at pallas. Can not tell them from older pressings so I would recommend getting them from amazon in case you get an older and just return. I got both from amazon after reading of new pressings on hoffman forums. Blows the older pressing away

    Song missing...?

Something must have happened while ripping the MP3s onto the Vinyl-RW. You know what they say, "America: Always one song short of an album"

    Why vinyl?

Random story: One morning I walked out of my apartment and found a brand new, sealed vinyl copy of Why - Alopecia on the sidewalk. I picked it up in disbelief, wondering who would leave a brand new record outside overnight? As I picked it up, my landlord walked around the corner and greeted me with a 'good morning'. After discussing my find, he asked if I was interested in some records a previous tenant had left and I happy obliged. Unfortunately the 50+ records left by the tenant were stacked (some with ringwear) but in relatively good condition. I did acquire some nice jazz, a rare radiohead remix album 1/500, some Portishead, a couple of obscure meditation/self-help records.

  23. ^ I did not. But rest assured, if I thought I could have made money off them, I would have.

  24. Most of the pressings I have obtained from this label are noisey. If that is the case here, this will be unlistenable

  25. burden of a day has only been mentioned three times on this website, ever. this makes four. (one of them was in this thread for their album "oneonethousand.") metalcore is mostly a shit genre but some really good bands came out of it and got no love. odd project is one of them. burden of a day is another. very few metalcore albums that are still listenable 10-15 years later. naturally they get compared to underoath because they're a florida-based christian post-hardcore band. so, i'd like to nominate "blessed be our ever after." one day i'll just get the damn thing pressed myself. (also odd project's "the second hand stopped.")

I wish they'd bring back more of the original horror aspects to make this a zombie show again but oh well.

  28. i always thought Eno did a great job on Souvlaki. slash the muddy production is exactly where i want it, especially now that i can confirm that record is a great capture of their live sound. i assume it's not Spotify's stream quality to blame here?

    The Walking Dead

Literally the same finale as with the Governor. Absolutely nothing resolved nor changed. Can't wait for another 8 plus episodes building up to the same thing. Real glad we got 25 minutes of close up shots of Sasha. Didn't drag out the episode unnecessarily at all. I'm starting to side with the folks who've been bitching about this show for years. This season probably could have been chopped down to 4-5 episodes & accomplished the same thing. So much useless filler with a bunch of characters I don't give a shit about.

    The Walking Dead

Speaking of her, what's with their manner of speaking? It's only been, what, a year since the apocolypse happened? We're supposed to believe that this huge group of people forgot how to speak normally and developed their own dialect? For all the suspension of disbelief that the show requires, you'd think they'd avoid unnecessary shit like that.

  36. Taker lost because that's the old school mentality in the wrestling business. In your retirement match, you go out on your back. See: Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels, etc. It made sense for him to lose. I just wish it was anyone but Reigns who beat him. WM was alright. It was definitely about an hour too long, and it dragged for the last four matches. Goldberg vs. Brock was absolutely terrible, and I'm glad that's finally over. Taker vs. Reigns was bad. The mixed tag match was fine, but the proposal after was so forced and cheesy. Orton vs. Wyatt was a disappointment. The SD women's title match was rushed and unexciting. Wrestlemania started off hot though. The cruiserweight title match was great. Gronk getting in to help Mojo was corny as hell but kinda cool. Styles/McMahon was very entertaining. Owens/Jericho, Rollins/HHH, the tag titles ladder match, and the Raw women's match were are very enjoyable. Overall, the show was about what I expected, pretty bland with a few bright spots. Biggest surprise was seeing the Hardyz return. MOTN was probably HHH vs Rollins or Styles vs McMahon.

  37. I think these are made by DeAgostini in Italy to be sold by newsstands but should be available in the Uk no problem. Abbey Road is 9.99 but the rest should be around 16.99 or 17.99 which is about the same as the recent reissues.

  38. Fairly sure it's an LP but I could be wrong. Don't want to take the wind out of Nick's sails or say too much too early, but I think this week will be an exciting one for Truise fans.

  44. Just out of curiosity, which of the following, if any, do you also believe are true: - Trump's inauguration crowd was record breaking - Obama was born in Kenya - 3 million people voted illegally - Trump's win in the electoral college was the biggest since Reagan - Climate change is a Chinese conspiracy
