Just read that zayzay paramore thread dom linked in the killers bootleg thread that got locked, for 14 pages I just hated paramore more, then I saw the Riot bowl and it made my morning. I've joked about how that was in print when I worked at a record store and how I wish I had bought it and turned it into a bowl to dishearten paramore fans, but Derek actually did it

Well, I wasn't aware of that. Come to think of it, IV did have a certain finality to it. Either way, I don't think VII is an incomplete movie in a negative sense. It leaves cliffhangers and lots of questions but without them, the movie probably wouldn't be as effective. Maybe they should've revealed a few more things to make it a better stand-alone but as someone already said, it's the kind of film that gets away with it, so I don't really see it as much of a flaw that dampens my enjoyment of the movie.

Starting a topic about a random-ass record that doesn't raise any actual issues, then exploding in aggression when someone points out there's a thread about that already, then acting butthurt when people express their disinterest, is not a good way to start. Lurk before you post. In general, if you want a place to share your youtube videos documenting your vinyl library, go elsewhere.

That's pretty much VC in a nutshell. Here's a bit of advice for you, If you're going to post a video review of records you purchase, cool, just start your own thread and bump that each time. Expect to be slammed by members often. If you review Thrice, Blink, Brand New, or any others bands of the like, expect shit storms, like Mark Wahlberg in The Perfect Storm type shit storms. In your threads, don't fight back, even the people defending whatever you're doing will turn on you, especially in a Blink, Thrice, or Brand New thread. Other than that this place is full of great info once you learn how to navigate your way around. Welcome, enjoy!

I disagree, that lennon/mccartney songwriting is unmatched, they experimented with so many styles, studio techniques, instuments, and time signature changes, happiness is a warm gun's song structure was unheard of at the time, and even bands like DEP don't get as mathy as that song. I don't think any other band could have accomplished that. Say what you want about Ringo, they deserve more praise than they get

to each his own. i will say that most every meaningful band, chorus, melody, hook, riff or harmony of the last 50 years owes something to this band that put out 12 albums and something like 200 songs in 7+ years. We are lucky to get 3 albums in that time from modern bands, with little to no innovation their b-sides are better than most bands entire catalogues its weird to hate them unless you are saturated with exposure, but in this day and age i sincerely doubt thats the case. i havent accidentally heard a beatles song in a decade, i suspect. there are way cooler/more relevant things to hate nowadays.

I got this email from the SR Team this morning: Hi You have received vinyl with surface noise , again. This issue has been taken up with our pressing plant. Together, we have decided to start from the very beginning by cutting new lacquers and growing new stampers so for the next run, we will not encounter these problems. Unfortunately, we will not be able to get back on the press until the new year now. So, we will send you another set in January. Please bear with us. Once again, can we remind you to keep hold of your outer and inner sleeves as we will only replace the vinyl. In the meantime, have a great holiday and we will be in touch with you in the New Year. My replacement Disc 1 also still had a problem. But My original Disc 1 was good so between the originals and the replacements I have a full set.
