I second this. Love the Invitation To Hold 7" that Secret Voice put out. Apart from the thin spine/flimsy jacket, my US pressing is fine too.

Man, you guys have the weirdest opinions. 10 track albums = awesome. Like Clockwork is not their shortest album. (IMHO) Like Clockwork is a super cohesive album, I find it flows very well from track to track, and it feels like everything fits together very nicely.

I ponied up via Amazon because this is good rock n roll, uhhhhh, music. I've basically resigned myself to give up the ghost on hunting down OG copes of the 90s-00s records (I've got OGs of the 80s stuff and Innocence). Even if I did find legit copies, it's common knowledge just how much they go for, and that surpasses my personal max splurge budget of $75 on a single rare record. A local record store actually had an OG Achtuuung. BABY! around that price last year and I slept on and subsequently lost out on it. I'm hoping this reissue is simply a replica of the OG-not a remaster expanded onto 2LPs (that way I can feel like I have an OG hahaha). I mean, I'll take whatever it is I suppose, but that's how I'd prefer it. I'd also love to get me hand on Pop. Not a remix, I think the original audio is totally fine (and that this is a brutally underrated record). Now from what I've last heard on Songs Of Experience, they are supposedly re-evaluating the lyrical content to see if the message they want to get across is now relevant in a post-Trump/Brexit world. That, and they might take the time to add new songs to it. Sorry but there's no good reason for setting prices like that. Whoever thinks like that is a bit off. When I see a price like this I immediately think "fuck off." I'm not even interested in dealing with a seller. Especially when you see the other items the seller has where offers aren't available. They're crazy too. It tells me the seller can't be serious about selling his records for reasonable prices so why would I even waste time dealing with them.

Got shipping notice for this. A bit worried tho... anyone from Canada ever order a single record and have it shipped though UPS to Canada? UPS is horrible and I ALWAYS get a huge import fee. I am fully expecting they will want almost $30, in which case, I am sadly going to not accept and return it. I would have avoided ordering if it was clear they'd be using UPS. Any input is appreciated.

well, yeah...if an offer is made officially, then the buyer becomes bound (btw, having to wait up to five days for a response from a seller is absurd). in any event, my point was that offers can always be made on every item on eBay or on discogs -- by sending them via messages. unless time is of the essence (e.g. a great price that would catch the attention of anyone who's in the market for a given item), it's almost foolish not to inquire with an offer before buying the item at the seller's list price. the worst response one could receive is: 'no, not accepting offers...'

Atomic Bomb is one of my favorite albums - not the biggest U2 fan ever but it resonated with me. Regrettably splurged ($150) on an OG in late 2015 but I'm glad to see that more people will finally be able to get it. Any word on Songs Of Experience? Bonobos, Thedge and Co. need to deliver that asap

In a recent interview I think they mentioned that the repetitiveness of Rattlesnake was supposed to help ease people into the microtonal sound but yeah, definitely my least favourite on the album. Hoping there's room for a real mellow album (like Quarters) before the year's end.
