Tug, my man, you listen to the used. A band that hasn't been relevant since 2005. That made 2 OKAY albums that are mainly listened too for nostalgic purposes. Bashing other people's tastes from you is just irony.

If you think it is bullshit just don't buy from them. They are pretty up front about it and they are a pretty awesome record store. I have gotten records cancelled due to them being out Of stock at places that tie Both physical and online inventory. This time of year it really doesn't matter.

As someone else mentioned earlier in the thread, this is exactly what RSD is all about! A bunch of die hard vinyl enthusiasts scrambling around to try and find the records they really want online, while flippers try to sell them for 3x the cost, and local indie stores treat the records like some form of diamond rings behind a counter (only to be put in a bargain bin 2 months later). After reading through the last 20 or so pages, you guys and gals are the true heroes of RSD. Big time bravo to all those trying to help each other out and get people what they want!

Buy one from a flipper on eBay. Take the A/B out and tell them you got two C/D sides and ask to return it. You get the correct records and the flipper gets screwed. Win win.

DafTyler gets it. I'm hardly a Boxcar fan, tug, but how does it make you feel that a "one album, one year" project that's worthy of a YouTube stream, at best, is more respected and relevant than anything The Used has put out in 12 years? Yowza.

Honestly sounds like BS, those sleeves are fine. Never had issues with them scratching the records, just bought 300 more myself even cause I'm happy with them. Mofi inner or polylined sleeves are great, but they are more expensive and this is basically the same thing minus the paper part. The compound they use won't damage the records

What I find disturbing is how much less expensive Bull Moose's pricing is than my local Los Angeles stores. I wonder if Bull Moose lowered the prices already? For example, Bull Moose is asking $13.99 for the U2 picture disc. I saw it in two L.A. stores on RSD for $17.99 and $19.99. I saw many examples just like this one in comparing prices this morning.

I ran into my local shop yesterday, Everybody's Records in Cincinnati, and they were out of the Pearl Jam single. I got a Facebook message from them today saying they found a copy and asked if I wanted it. I seriously cannot recommend these dudes enough. If you're in town, it's a must to stop in.

I heard that the scratches from the Diskeeper sleeves come from the "c" that fell off the name and floats loosely in every inner sleeve. I also heard that this is all hyper-vigilant over-thinking and that most likely people are just seeing their records in a different angle/light and seeing normal hairline marks that are already there.

Just got shipping notification for this. The hype is real. The band will be putting up a screenprinted cover version of this /100 sometime tomorrow. Looks like 50 will be God's Eye and the other 50 Cosmic Vein, as far as variants.

It's not a RSD "no returns" policy, just FYI. None (or precious few) of the distros accept back any vinyl, never have. If they allowed returns on vinyl, they would kill the market, as Best Buy & Walmart would be all over it. It would get really ugly. Edited to add... stores who overbuy and are left with worthless stock - and we've done it - have only themselves to blame for not being better in tune with their customers' needs.
