Not being a TTV fan previously, I quite like the new direction. Also seems you're reading a bit into him still using the name. It could just be in honor of his highschool friend that he started a band with... the name and band has always been half his, so, sounds like he's free to do with the name what he wants. /shrug

I think they said that black would be available indefinitely. But maybe didn't preclude any additional colored pressings in addition to that. Also completely agree, just so happen to have been listening to it when I saw this topic pop up. I think this is a STELLAR album, really excellent in all aspects.

Here is an update on my The Wonder Years collection. I've been collecting their stuff since I first heard the band in 2010 and The Upsides helped me make some serious life decisions. I justify this because I love supporting the band that helped me change my life for the better. Some of these have been pretty tricky to find and I still have a few more to go but I got some free time and figured I would do it anyway. I don't collect Test Presses only because they are way too expensive and I could never get my hands on one let alone all of them. Also, for the record releases, I count it as one variant so I don't have multiples for The Greatest Generation or The Upsides. I have gotten a TON of help from people on VC, Dead Format and Discogs so huge thanks to the vinyl community. Hope you guys dig it. According to their FAQ: WHY DON'T YOU OFFER MEDIA MAIL? We are aware some companies choose to offer 'Media Mail' as a shipping option for things such as vinyl records and CD's. We have chosen not to simply because more often than not this service leads to packages taking 10+ business days to be delivered. When paired with the fact this is time spent in the elements, these items often become warped and/or damaged in transit with no insurance option available to the customer. This service as defined by USPS is a low-tier, bottom priority service. We believe this is why in the past we've seen packages delivered in heavily damaged conditions, which have included bent jacket corners, cracked jewel cases, pressure cracks on vinyl records as well as media completely broken in half. Ultimately these aren't desirable results for us as collectors, therefore we don't feel comfortable offering this to other collectors. TL;DR "We're too cheap to send out replacements"
