lol I commented on the bands Facebook post about the album, and of course I got lots of pissy people commenting, but these are my two favs: "if you think a 3xLP picture disc is worth anything less than $70 you're insane" and "packaging shouldn't have anything to do with price" hahahahahahaaa EDIT: here's another lol "Black LPs cost $20 on average. 3 of them is $60 because math. Make all of them a picture disc for a live album that won't exist on any other format, you can make sense of the additional $10 easily. Especially with $10 shipping? These packages are absolute steals."

Le Matos show variant was $38 after tax. Double LP. I think they had 100 at the table and 200 reserved for the show. All I know for sure is that they limited it to one per person at the Mondo booth.

Because the score to The Fountain is amazing. I've wanted it on vinyl since the movie came out. I hated the movie back then too, but loved the score. Now the movie is one of my all time favorites. It (both the movie and score) make me cry at least a little every time. Always at a different part too. Are Mondo drops still a complete shit show?

They've been around and been good for much longer than 2016. I put this on fueled by ramen way more than I do on tøp.

Mondo's naming conventions are usually on-point, so I was able to key them both in early. Their search results also showed them early.

Or, you could stop ordering records and then an hour later change your mind and cancel. They would be better off not having to deal with "customers" like yourself who can't commit to something they ordered less than an hour ago. The site is great. Create a feature that stops idiots like the one above from ordering so you can focus on more important things and you'll really have something great on your hands

I agree. Regardless of what they were used for, it is still pretty cool. I picked it up for less than $10; it sounds great and is one of my favorite albums she put out, so it was a win for me either way.

Some surface noise on Endless after a clean. Also, Its not clear (or even that fogged clear that VD does), its like a Milky color with some yellow bursts in it.

Was all ready for the preorder till I saw that price.

This release is so "vinyl bubble". I saw a couple colored (non-black) variants at a local record store in Chicago and the prices were ridiculous. But then that place puts a ridiculous premium on everything they stock that is even remotely rare and/or even semi-popular. I enjoyed the series and the score so I would probably get this but only if I found a black copy at a really reasonable price. That said, I find the price in the picture ($23.99) to be fairly reasonable for a 2XLP. Its amazing how much shops are milking the "uniqueness" of the colored variants.

Oh these will sell out for sure. Earlier this year, after receiving tons of messages from fans, I put my copy of their S/T cd up for auction. It sold for nearly $700.

100% sure I saw a copy, with plate, but kept walking because I wasn't in to them at the time :| I'll keep an eye out for you, though it will be cheaper if you get a copy from the US.
