I ordered a black copy last month from Bullmoose cause the Mountain Blast was sold out and wasn't too concerned with the color. They emailed me today and said they were shipping soon but found some extra color copies and let me change it for no charge if I would like. Really great of them 👏

@swisherprice TigerLab responded to my question about the Tokyo Godfather variants. The bottom 2 in the picture ARE 2 different variants. One translucent, the other opaque with red.

Just got mine today. It's also a gatefold. Has a glossy finish which is different from the non-deluxe releases.

I know, it's just a dream... that now has a better chance of happening if they're active again.

My copies from Revolver finally moved in the tracking & showing should be delivered next Monday. I expect maximum disappointment.

The LP on LPs are up on Dry Goods for $19 each (although you've got to pay shipping and taxes). There are t-shirt and poster options, too.

This album absolutely fucks. Too bad it'll be criminally underrated.

And with this option, you won't need the preamp. You could also scope out local thrift stores and find something cheap with a phono input. It would at least get the job done as you save for something nicer

Statistically speaking, if "prog[ressive]" is located within any 1 of the first 3 genre descriptors that come to mind for a band, there's an 87% chance the general fanbase will be insufferable.

Today's pull - $18 - pretty damn pleased. Miles Davis - "Sketches of Spain" six-eye first press mono - cover is beat (G), vinyl has marks but plays clean a very good VG. Herbie Hancock "Secrets" - The tail end of my favorite of his funk-jazz albums Cannonball Adderley Sextet - Live at the SF Jazz Workshop - first stereo press VG+/VG+. It's a great record, love the spots where he's introducing songs. Miles Davis "Ghetto..." - Not as exciting as the other pickups. Guess this was the RSD release. Nice copy. No complaints for a few bucks.

Just got my MCR Bullets repress last weekend. The vinyl turned out really nice, and sounds great. The album artwork looks like shit though, definitely a low res source image. I don't remember if it looked that bad on the old CD releases as well.

The post office has been horrible lately. I bought a Spitalfield record, it took a few weeks to arrive at my post office, then inexplicably is now being sent away - presumably back to the sender...
