I forget where I heard this...but always remember "this too shall pass." That's for the good and the bad. My daughter is six now...my little ginger girl heated up her own pizza in the microwave the other week. She helps me cook. She plays sports. She can flip the records, turn on the TV, plays on her iPad and her Kindle (yes she has both.)... When your kid is a baby, they imprint on you. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to do a lot more for the little one than expected. It took a toll on me, but she's daddy's girl. Remember this too...even when they're 1, 2, etc...they're far more perceptive than you think. There was a six month period when mine didn't ever want to play with me because I was in a bad headspace and I wasn't nice. As daddy, you're never allowed to be too tired or too sick...and you should never want to be. I'm rambling now...I know.

Someone posted on /r/NIN there are individual blocks of black on there, so there are actually a set number of letters blacked out. The first word is 3 letters, second is 8. Could be the 2nd EP as it should drop within a couple of weeks.

The sound issues were most likely shitty test pressings. There might be compressing on the digital files, but they're not brick walled. I've been listening to the ALAC versions and there is a ton of fidelity and depth to the tracks.

Finally got my Lil Uzi Vert from Amoeba. Sounds pretty good!

It was a pleasant surprise to see Quake pop up on the webstore. That was one of the most important video games growing up for me. One of my favorite aspects of the game was seeing the ammo packs for the Nailgun branded with the NIN logo, of course.

Damn it, that Prick LP is a different variant, haha. I would have waited and not picked up the black LP if I knew about that.

Unfortunately you just missed out on an insane sale allthatisheavy.com was having where multiple colors of that album were available for about $13 and change. I'll keep my eye out for any other sources and let you know if I see anything but you might have to hope they have a tour stop in a city near you to grab one for a reasonable price at this point.

I listened to the new album a couple of times this weekend and I like it a lot, but the minimal vocals hold it back in a big way for me. The fact that I'm still looking to buy the LP is a testament to how good the music is, though.

Ash came in today, looks great but I won't be able to spin it till late tonight to see about sound quality.

I've been a fan since their first release. Anyway, I recommend you check out their back catalog. You will be able to see their growth and how they get better after each album. Dead Roots Stirring is my favorite song by them but Lore is my favorite album. However it could be replaced with Reflections of a Floating World after a few more spins. I got one a few weeks ago to have something to do on some flights. It's been awesome so far. On my first flight, the screens in my section of the plane quit working so everyone was pissed they couldn't watch movies anymore. My brother and I were able to play some Mario Kart on the Switch, and it was awesome. On my flight home I ended up sitting next to the drummer from Wolf Parade. I should have offered to let him play some Mario Kart with me. haha

let's be real people who buy ETR releases don't have a real turntable and trick themselves into thinking the colorization of their card makes it sound better than an mp3. Like an album cheaply recorded to digital and then throwing it back into analog is going to make it sound great, in fact 95% of music on vinyl from the 90s forward isn't going to sound much better due to the recording limitations. I admit when I'm buying a modern record a lot of it doesn't have to do with some false sense of a superior sound quality, and most has to do with my preferred format and supporting artists/labels I like

why don't you tell us how you really feel? haha. we knew the box set wouldn't be for everyone, which is why we created less than 300 and have the standard edition for $24.98. the box set is for dorks like me who want something extra from one of their favorite films. we worked hard on creating fun items that are all directly related to the script.. including a few that i think/hope (?) fans will get actual use out of or at least really appreciate the attention to detail on. that aside, a 5 piece set of enamel pins, getting one of the actors on board, paying artists, housing everything inside a custom gold foil box.. it was the most expensive project I've ever worked on, including my other label that is on cat #62 this year. to each their own, we appreciate you picking up the standard edition!
