Thanks. Yeah. I had tried pretty much every option. I ended up doing the normal pre-sale this morning (and the code was FEELTHESAME). I knew it wouldn't sell out, but I like grabbing tickets as soon as I can.

I haven't seen NIN as much as some on this thread, but I've seen 'em a fair amount of times on a lot of different tours, and they've never disappointed. I guess my claim to fame is seeing them 3 times supporting TDS.... Once at the Fox in ATL (with Marilyn Manson opening) which STILL might be my favorite show.... And then supporting Bowie.... And then late in the tour when they'd changed the whole setlist around. It was cool to get so many PHM songs back then... I don't think Trent does many of them anymore beyond Head Like A Hole and Terrible Lie. (Sanctified was played on the HM tour, which was a very cool version.) I doubt I'm gonna get The Only Time or Sin or Something I Can Never Have again. What else.... Seeing With Teeth in Charlotte where a rain delay stopped the show halfway through.... When they came back, Trent basically blew up the setlist and played Dead Souls, Reptile, Get Down Make Love, and Down In It (with the whole crowd screaming "Rain rain go away"). Took a good show and made it great. Oh, and the NIN/JA tour had lots of deep cuts: Home, Metal, Non-Entity, I'm Afraid Of Americans, Head Down, Suck... THAT was pretty fantastic. Honestly I've heard Somewhat Damaged and Burn more than I can count. But I'll never turn down the former. Somewhat Damaged is almost always a highlight of any show.

That's exactly how I felt when I got into NJPW during last year's G1. The matches are just out of this world and it's ridiculously unpredictable. Especially the A Block could go either way; Naito, Ishii, ZSJ and Tana all have 8 points and the B Block winner will probably be decided by Omega-Okada III. What I also love is how near-50 year olds like Suzuki, Nagata and Kojima can still work 4-5 star matches and guys like YOSHI-HASHI, EVIL, SANADA and Juice have improved immensely in just a year. I know that the G1 schedule is tough but every pro wrestling fan should seriously check out at least some of the matches. And honestly, I don't really care much about WWE anymore. They can still be fucking great when they want to but it's simply not a consistent or satisfying product that's worth being fully invested in as a viewer or a fan. Mahal's title run is the perfect example; they turned him from jobber to main eventer overnight and that devalued not only the top title but the entire hierarchy of the roster. They could've done their whole India expansion and anti-America schtick by giving him the US Title instead and have Styles-Owens for the WWE Title, with Nakamura challenging Styles at SummerSlam now. Not to mention that while Cena-Nakamura was amazing, it should've seriously been saved for a big PPV. And even now that Shinsuke could become WWE Champion, the possibility that Corbin - someone who, like Mahal, just isn't at that level - is gonna cashing in, is quite the turn-off. It'd be typical WWE cockblock booking.

I don't understand the soft complaints. The Gold, The Moth, Lead, SD, The Grocery, The Wolf, and especially The Silence are pretty huge sounding rock songs. Yeah, they are much more dynamic than COPE so they have quieter parts, but that makes the "heavy" parts hold even more weight.

Well...If 21 times constitutes being a crazy person...the number of times I've seen NIN live, I may as well be the lunatic running the proverbial asylum.

these types of releases always turn the thread into a complaint hotline when it's over. I don't get it, everyone gets plenty of notice and is guaranteed it won't sell out yet people's money problems make it a shitty thing? im really sorry you guys didn't have the money on release day but to sit here and complain about your money issues as a way to shit on the release is ridiculous. it always helps to have an emergency fund/credit card for stuff like this...
