  2. Am I alone in thinking this would have been a much more enjoyable release had they just pulled a Mondo/Twin Peaks and done a single cool color in a nice, high quality sleeve?

  3. Added some pics (sorry I'm not Jimmy Olsen or whoever) and additional info that I could: https://www.discogs.com/release/6288693 Hopefully it's good, I hate the "police" force over there. "It's not the right format..." "You didn't add this..." "blah blah blah blah blah". Really gets on my nerves when they say something needs to be edited and then expect you to do it. It's right there, you noticed, why can't you help "contribute"?

  4. Or, you could stop ordering records and then an hour later change your mind and cancel. They would be better off not having to deal with "customers" like yourself who can't commit to something they ordered less than an hour ago. The site is great. Create a feature that stops idiots like the one above from ordering so you can focus on more important things and you'll really have something great on your hands

  5. Earlier this year, the Avalanches returned with their first new album in 16 years, Wildflower. Now, they’ve announced the reissue of their seminal debut album, 2000’s Since I Left You, on vinyl. The reissue is out January 27 via Astralwerks. It will be available on standard black vinyl and a limited edition of 5,000 colored vinyl, which is exclusive to independent record stores. Before the release of the reissue, fans can vote on the color (either red, blue, clear, or gold) they’d like to see the limited edition vinyl pressed on, and pledge the local record store they want the vinyl stocked at. You can vote here. The winning color will be revealed on November 29.

  6. Can't believe that they have pressed over 13k copies of this already. That is pretty awesome.

  10. Saying you like hip hop and not knowing entroducing is like saying you dont know NWA or Wu-tang. It is an iconic album. DJ Shadow kinda fell off but the new album is his best work in a long time.

  11. New music from The Flatliners, maybe a new album coming? "Nerves, a two-song seven-inch sees the Toronto band picking up where they left off on 2015's Division of Spoils—catchy and distinct right from frontman Chris Cresswell's raspy primal scream that kicks off the opener, "Hang My Head." The EP will be limited to 100 copies, available at Fest. Not going? You can listen to it below, and it will be available digitally from Dine Alone Records on October 28" https://noisey.vice.com/en_us/article/hear-a-new-two-song-ep-from-the-flatliners

  13. Fix your order cancelation policy to allow for orders to be canceled even if it's been over 1 hour since placing the order (which is your current time limit) and increase your customer support quality to allow you to respond to order cancellation requests that come in immediately. I've requested to cancel orders within an hour of checking out only to receive a shipping confirmation two days later. Currently, I'll only shop with you when the price is at least 30-40% cheaper than elsewhere and I make each order with the pre-acceptance that I may receive zero help or response if an order issue arises and I may need to resort to filing a claim. Other than that, I'm happy with the mailers you use and the shipping speed. I currently have a pre-order of the Out of Time 3xLP reissue with you, waiting to go out in November. I appreciate the gesture of checking in and asking.

  21. No surprise on the box. They want everyone to buy the single records first, then they will put out the box when season two hits Netflix. That's how you grab all the cash!

  29. Yeah, I don't know why I thought that. I guess with all the news of Carpenter Brut and Perturbator going on US tours I dreamed that at night or something... That was it, I forgot that was Halloween. Yeah, I think Gost went on around 3 or 4am right after Dawn of The Dead who also had like 6 people in the crowd. They didn't tell anyone what the "secret venue" was till the night of the damn show, you just knew it was downtown somewhere. The few people that were there I think were all in the other synth bands that were playing that night, my friend and I might of literally been the only fans. More people just randomly walk into a show at the Echo, he would of had more people at another venue... I hope. This is the sad truth. 700 people go shithouse over the Stranger Things theme at a S U R V I V E show, but if they weren't on TV I don't think most people would be there. Not everyone can do a TV or movie soundtrack...

  37. Excited to catch Caspian in a week. Phil said that they're going to cancel the show and play their discography for my +1 and I if we show up early. Also been talking with him about renaming the band but he's waiting on more input from me. You guys can also look forward to some amazing Tertia repress variants that I'm helping the band decide on.

  39. Just checked out. $60 after taxes. At least it's not a single LP moneygrab release 3XLP, nice packaging... and once this sells out, I guarantee, based on other final fantasy record aftermarket pricing, this is the cheapest it'll ever go for.

  40. it's not that you are being rude, but what many new members fail to grasp is members of VC don't typically pay market prices especially on releases less than 6 months old. One could sign up for VMP and get that record for the exact price you are offering and when you publicly state you got it for free, you get an eyeroll from members and they see you as trying to exploit the community for your own gain. This isn't ebay or discogs there are less seller fees and as a result the records that sell in classifieds are typically a little bit less than you would pay elsewhere. You don't know any of us and you don't owe us anything, but you will have more success selling in these parts if you are a little more generous on your pricing.

  41. Honestly never thought I would get to this point with Saves The Day, since I assumed I would never own I'm Sorry, I'm Leaving; but a local store recently got a copy and I recently sold my second copy of a white Through Being Cool for nearly as much as they were asking for it. So it just made sense. LP's: Can't Slow Down - 2nd press., red (500) Through Being Cool - 2nd press, white (500) & original Black (3rd press /?) Stay What You Are - 2nd pressing, black (?) & 3rd pressing grey-mix (?) In Reverie - 1st press, black (?) Sound The Alarm - 1st pressing, red and white (70) & 1st pressing, blue and white (70) Under The Boards - 1st pressing, white and blue (70) Daybreak - 1st pressing, white (500) Saves The Day - 2nd pressing, white (1000) 7": I'm Sorry, I'm Leaving - white (395) At Your Funeral - black (?) Freakish - black (?) Anywhere With You - orange (?) & white (?) Four Way Tour Split - green (300) The Tide Of Our Times/Everlasting Everything - 1st press, white (1000)
