Is anybody else having trouble with the mobile version of the boards? About 5 seconds after I load up the site, a popup takes over and its supposedly Walmart or Youtube. I know better than to click on the ads, but they don't even let you hit the back button and go back to the site. I have to reload the site. It's completely unusable. Happens with Chrome and the default browser. I downloaded Norton and everything came up clean. No viruses on my phone. Is anyone else having these problems?? (I know this could go in the support section of the forums but I wanted people to actually see it.)

Happens to me a lot and it's friggin annoying.

not about records specifically, but I think it depends on the person and the situation. I have been self employed as an irrigation repair/install tech for 5 years and have a few landscape maintenance accounts for guaranteed recurring payments. I make okay money. What helps in a successful business? Multiple enterprises. I also resell(fine call it flipping) toys that I find from Goodwill, Craigslist, friends, etc. Adds to my income nicely when I really try. On top of that, I dabble in investments, which has yet to do much for me but still learning. I am by no means rich, but I LOVE the hustle every day. Sure there are days where I may make only $50, but I put that on me as the person doing the work; I need to work harder I tell myself. As it stands I make comparable doing what I do, working ~25 hours a week, to what I would make at a 40 hr/wk job with a steady paycheck. There are extra headaches like getting your own insurance, quarterly taxes (UGH), finding inventory or customers, handling marketing, etc. I can't see the next time I will go back to working for someone else, but hey that's just my opinion man. TLDR: Some people enjoy the hustle over a paycheck from a company. To each his/her own, but I enjoying compounding my "bad" stress into "good" stress which, in turn, lights a fire under my ass to work harder and pay da bills.

It totally excites me, I love MN. I love their earlier stuff too; A-Types is the only album that I wasn't fully sold on, and even then I really like some tracks on there.

^^^ Where I was sitting at Wrestlemania, it was directly behind where you see them do the introductions in that row of alternative languages commentators (Japanese, Italian, Hindi, etc) after an hour into the show. We were above a tunnel that WWE crew and talent would come out of to go to the stadium floor. All the NXT guys walked by (Velveteen Dream, Adam Cole, EC3, etc) and people would shout at them. Ember Moon walked by and she was gorgeous in real life. I just stared, lol. Didn't want to be a dick and catcall but I couldn't think of anything interesting to say/yell.

You think people actually listen to the records? I've only had a chance to listen to BOAND and Rain Temple(for Dream Catalogue vinyl) and they sound good. I have a back log of about 40 records that I still need to find time to spin. Yes, I have a problem.

Unfortunately I kind of agree with releases having their own threads. When Waxwork first did the Creepshow score I had no idea who they were so I never opened the thread. I missed a few variants because I didn’t know they were doing it.

Again, not trying to shit on you. I've thought about this too - as have most Canadian record buyers - the landscape for online record buying in Canada is pretty barren outside of Amazon. There are plenty of folks here who would be thrilled to see you succeed, but are just skeptical because it is really fucking hard to make this work. Lighter than I hoped. Nothing like the tour albums from their previous albums. This band has seriously changed.

These came out really well and look really nice. I will be spinning them over the coming days. I listened to the digital files a bit too. The new tracks fit well with the other songs on Autopergamene. I need to listen to the Skin Turns to Glass yet.

What OP needs to do is focus on a few, hand curated titles focusing on the customer’s unique taste and then send those out automatically every month so they can spin them on their Crosleys and post pictures in Instagram. Maybe he can called it VINL?

Let me know in a year when you are closing shop and need to have a clearance sale.

Starting a record store/marketplace now is next to impossible with big box online retailers dominating it. Unless you can beat Amazon's prices for new releases or discogs for used.
