Also been talking with him about renaming the band but he's waiting on more input from me. You guys can also look forward to some amazing Tertia repress variants that I'm helping the band decide on.

New pressing on what looks to be pilsner with silver splatter: They have this on tour with them. Apparently it's in stock on Amazon as well labeled as "(2LP) (Colored Vinyl)" . I'll have mine in two days to post my own photos. I talked to Jani today and he didn't even know about it. Haha.

I feel you. I actually spun my tour copy this morning. Ugh. It hits so hard. Love love love. Sad Heart is so good live. Are you going to be able to catch them? But if you pick up the most recent repress are you going to complain it isn't the rarest / hardest to find?... : ) Just buy a copy. One less reason to bump your WTB thread every, fucking, day for a [tour] pressing you're wanting at cost (won't happen). Variant hunting is dumb if they all sound good, even more so when it's an album still in print. This album is flawless. Just buy it. Amazon. $30 to your doooooooooooor. Got mine! Arrived in a week and since I'm overseas, that's actually pretty quick. Shipping came up to half a boxset (i hesitated at first, and ended up not being within the first 200. would've been nice to get a 7"!) All I can say is WOW. The packaging is exquisite. Everything was very well executed. I'm also very glad mine didnt have any seam splits. Those usually happen during overseas shipping too. It was very well packed, styrofoam all round. I bought 2, thinking if I should open the other to check for seam splits.. But I wanted to keep it sealed or sell it to someone else locally.. Listening to the albums now, blueprints for the black market is a little warped, but i LOVE the remasters! Still wish that they did these on some sick coloured vinyl, but still overall, this boxset was not just a great idea, but superbly done. Props to the anberlin team and merch designers!

Just found out that I won a signed test pressing of this from a local record shop. Stoked!

Well that completely resolved the issue and i learned something new! Thanks so much! I pulled a length of speaker wire into a single strand, stripped the ends and made the connections and the buzz disappeared completely. Thanks again!

I'm going to put this show on pause. It's not the worst thing by any stretch of the imagination, but I just can't imagine watching this for another 5-plus years at the moment. It's such a vicious slog and it's so mean-spirited devoid of really well-written characters to suffer through it all. Plus, it's not really building up to any kind of "end goal" since it's a money machine so it's not like these two deaths really amount to anything other than shock and awe. I'll be breaking until a final season is announced. Glad every one else liked it, though.

I believe the B&N variant will wind up looking like the clear/black smoke Indie version, but with a translucent red base color instead of clear. The waffle and forest variants for Vol. 2 will likely follow the same aesthetic, too. I think I'm most curious to see the VMP variant (which looks to be similar to the FatBeats dep. tank Vol. 2 variant). This release has been such a cluster#$%@, now that these are actually showing up I... thought I'd be more excited. All just sorta feels like noise until the box is announced.

If you are talking about Bmoose,its usually not bad for BF. My wife and I go shopping around 1am on BF every year. Then, we make our way to Bmoose around 7. The line is always inside, rather than waiting outside, and there's never been more than a dozen people in front of us. Now, the April RSD, that's a whole other story.

I agree with Kevin, I don't like it any more now than I did the first time I listened and I think I'm about ten spins deep. I feel like when I'm listening to it I'd give it a 7 because it's pleasant and all, but every time I reflect on it I retract it to a 6. This is a serviceable emo album. The lyrics are often melodramatically exaggerated beyond the acceptable pre-eyeroll standard, he sounds bored half the time, and while the mathy instrumentals are pleasant, I realized that there's little progression like there was on the original record. Nobody else (friends I've talked to in real life + other sites and forums I browse) seems to think it's any good at all, so I guess my opinion kinda falls between everyone else and Vinyl Collective but I have a hard time grasping why VC spends so much time with Mike Kinsella's cock in their (our?) collective mouth. It's baffling that this is literally the only place I've seen anyone give it a 10/10 and almost everyone has called it great or AOTY. Have your opinions and I'll have mine (nobody is influencing it, trust me) but it's just either a weird coincidence or a weird hivemind mentality going on here. inb4 "you''ll get it when you're older" even though American Football is music written for 17 year olds inb4 "but I can relate to it" well that's great that you can form a connection to the music, so you can enjoy it, but that doesn't make the raw content any better inb4 "contrarian opinion" not really, I gave it 6 or 7 /endrant
