I think I’ve finally been bitten by the “Bloodborne bug” thanks to @batman. Beat the first boss on my second try yesterday. My whole body was shaking and I could feel my heartbeat everywhere, but I did it. Playing through and beating Cuphead first definitely helped with my confidence as well. Dragon Ball FighterZ tomorrow! I think the last time I was this excited for a fighting game was Marvel Vs. Capcom 3. I cant wait.

I haven't subbed for a few months, but I'm listening to the Ayalew Mesfin right now, and it's really good. I am not nearly versed enough in much of the music of this part of the world or era (other than William Onyeabor, who I absolutely love), but this is great. And I love the story/background too.

I don't think it's about the label misreading the demand for this album. I think it just might be smart business. I wouldn't fault Saddle Creek at all if they took a look at what Painted Shut was selling for on Discogs and said, "You know what, why shouldn't we be the ones making money off of our own releases". For those saying "it should be about the music", I agree. However, to act like some people didn't pull the trigger on this solely because of the value of Painted Shut is absurd. Bottom line, good for the label and the band. They should be the ones benefiting off the album, not the secondary market.

Yes! I love Dondero....one of my all-time favorite musicians. He is a brilliant songwriter and is severely underrated in my opinion. This is one of his best releases....now if only somebody would press The Transient.
