  8. A year and a half since the release of their debut album, and two member changes later, Sheer are back. With their new EP Psychic Quarry, Sheer embrace a change that finds the band at their most relaxed and inspired. While their debut LP Uneasy introduced the band as one with a kinship for dreamy, reverb-induced soundscapes, Psychic Quarry is a much more catchy, and indie rock-informed affair. The six songs on Psychic Quarry cover a lot of ground – feelings of anxiety and depression, the vulnerability of intimacy, and even the post-election shock many of found ourselves coping with. Psychic Quarry will be released April 28th on vinyl, as well as digitally. 21. Honestly I don't know the last time that pre-release singles have gotten me so excited for an album. This went from being a, "Oh cool, that should be good whenever it comes out" record to, "Holy shit this could be one of my best records of 2017."

  25. Very excited to see they're still alive and kickin' -has it really been 8 years? Only good experiences with Constellation as well. Super discography, a couple took a bit to grow on me (as does most music that can get jazzish - that's a new word) I really like Other Truths direction, though, esp. "Do" Favorite track is still "Auberge Le Mouton Noir" from WHCHSH. Bring it!

  27. My KEXP felt sandy, but it was pressed on an olive green color. Listening now and it sounds really good. No haze for Formlessness. They just pressed splits and splatters for that one in addition to the standard black.

Update: They are releasing the recently recorded Coma show as well as a few records, two of which are EU exclusive... 180g black Gold - EU Ultra Violet - EU Purple /Black- US I've tried to ship to American from the site it directs me to, EMP, with no luck. Any EU people getting these that can lend a hand on the gold and ultra violet ones??

  39. Earlier on when he was brand new to the forums, and it was debatable whether or not he was actually trolling... I certainly was. But at this point I'm just stating the facts and trying to keep it real. He'll continue to claim he's "for real" but will then continue to post absurdly, in a fashion that completely negates any chance of anyone taking him seriously. It's a vicious cycle... but it's become such a redundant process that it just feels like clockwork now.

Clearaudio Concept TT w/ upgrade PSU and Ortofon 2M Bronze Rogue Audio Ares Phono Stage (Mullard 12ax7 and Radiotechnique 12au7) Raven Audio Osprey (JAN Phillips, Mullard, and Brimar tubes) Nola Boxers Woo Audio WA7 Fireflies with upgraded PSU (no headphones right now, saving for Audeze LCD-X) Listen to mostly jazz, post rock, some psych, electronic.
